QPE CORONAVIRUS PROTOCOL 2020


COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS PROTOCOL:

At Queen Presence Elite (QPE), the safety and wellbeing of those we serve is always our first priority. Protecting our players, parents and our coaches from infectious diseases like the flu and the new COVID-19 coronavirus is an urgent concern for all of us. We require all players to follow infections disease protocols now more than ever, this is essential to keeping players and coaches safe, according to the CDC and OSHA.


How can I best prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu?

  • Stay home if sick, especially with flu-like symptoms.

  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds, or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer (provide @ practice).

  • Avoid touching your nose, mouth, and eyes.

  • Cover cough and sneezes with a tissue (provide @ practice) or elbow; dispose of tissues in trash.

  • Avoid shaking hands and always wash hands after physical contact, hand sanitizers provide.

  • Regularly disinfect common surfaces like phones,and avoid sharing others’ devices.


How can QPE best prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu?

  • In addition to the above.

  • Wash and disinfect all equipments before, during and after practice with bleach wipes.

  • Recommending all players to bring their own water bottle labeled with their name.

  • QPE will implement any appropriate risk-mitigating initiatives.


We do recommend that player, parents and coaches stay healthy, with lots of physical activity, a balanced diet, and rest.

2. Can I be sent home if I’m sick? YES.

If you have symptoms of the flu or COVID-19,



We will ask you to stay home, or go home if symptoms appear while you’re at practice. Before you return to practice from a virus like the flu or COVID-19, we may require a provider’s release. Please, contact usbefore returning, and know that QPE respects your right to confidentiality about your health.


There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases.


Cover your coughs and sneezes:

Cover: Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.


Dispose: Throw used tissues in a lined trash can.


Wash hands: Immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or, if soap and water are not available, clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.


Clean your hands often:

Wash hands: Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.


Hand sanitizer: If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol, covering all surfaces of your hands and rubbing them together until they feel dry.


Soap and water: Soap and water are the best option if hands are visibly dirty.


Avoid touching: Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
